Quick background: I’ve had acne since I was 13. Anything could have caused this, but it’s most likely puberty. Most people stop getting new pimples after their teens, but not me (perhaps you as well). This is one of the reasons I started this blog, and I was hoping I could help you with my findings.
On this post, I will ask a few questions that could lead to the answers you seek. If you’re here to see what products I use, please stay tuned for another post in the future. For now…
How are your hormonal levels?
Do you sleep with makeup on?
How often do you change your sheets?
Do you think the type of food you eat is contributing to your skin’s condition?
Do you shower immediately after your workouts?
How do you touch the affected areas? Are you gentle?
Are your shoulder or bra straps increasing the potential for acne?
Do some of the products that you use contain some sort of fragrance (e.g. shampoo, facial wash)?
There could be so many culprits, and not knowing the actual cause could be frustrating. Consider the questions above to be a starting point. I hope that does not overwhelm you, so I invite you to join me to take a moment to be understanding of our bodies, as we are all different. I’ll be right here with you.
Since this is my first blog post, I’d like to celebrate with you.
